um, this was incredible.

thanks to flannel, my mom and I went to see the swell season on Sunday night.
let me tell you, it was brilliant. i'm pretty sure i had chills the whole time.
sometimes i could hardly keep myself from joining in and singing at the top of my lungs...the music was so compelling. it made me want to jump to my feet and dance.

i didn't really want to spend listening time on taking photographs (an unintended insult to photographers, i'm sorry.), so i only took a few shots, but they're not so bad considering...




the whole show was so comfortable, and so personal. i wasn't sure if it would be more of glen hansard, or if it would be equally marketa irglova too, but glen was definitely the lead guy. only in a very natural humble way, not so much in a "hello, i'm the lead singer, the only one you know" kind of way.

more than one standing ovation.

its frustrating to try to describe. it was that great.
